デイダミアモルフォ   Morpho deidamia

Morpho butterfly is regarded as one of the most beautiful butterflies in the world from the strength of its shine.

"Morpho" means Greek, "form", "beautiful".

A very large wing gives a vivid gloss like a blue metal.

On the back side of the wing, there are most types of eyeball patterns (eyes-like pattern).

It is thought to surprise the natural enemy by the change in the color of the front and back of the wing.

This time I expressed the eye-shaped pattern on the back side of the wing.

モルフォチョウはその輝きの強さから世界で最も美しい蝶の一つとされています。

"Morpho"は、ギリシャ語で「形態」・「美しい」を意味します。

非常に大きな翅は青い金属のような鮮やかな光沢を放ちます。

翅の裏側には目玉模様（眼状紋）がある種類がほとんどで、分類上はジャノメチョウに近縁とされています。翅の表裏の色の変化で天敵を驚かせると考えられています。

今回は翅の裏側の眼状紋を表現しました。
